Korean Skincare Routine for Dehydrated, Tight and Flaky Skin - Oily Skin

This routine is for oily skin that feels tight, looks flaky, and gets greasy anyway (because dehydration often triggers more oil). The goal is to rehydrate deeply, support the barrier with lightweight ceramide-lipid care, and protect daily with sunscreen, without clogging or over-stripping.

What results to expect (realistic):

• 3-7 days: less tightness after cleansing, fewer visible flakes, skin feels more comfortable through the day.
• 2-4 weeks: smoother texture, reduced patchy flaking, less “dehydration shine,” makeup sits better.
• 6-8 weeks: stronger barrier and better hydration retention, less rebound oiliness caused by dryness.

AM Routine

How to Use- (Steps 1 to 5)

1. Cleanser: Cleanse 20-30 seconds with lukewarm water. Rinse well. Pat dry (no rubbing).
2. Barrier Toner: Apply 1 layer and press into skin. If very tight, apply 2 thin layers.
3. Hydrating Serum: Apply a thin layer and press in gently.
4. Moisturizer: Apply a thin layer (extra only on flaky patches).
5. Sunscreen: Apply generously to face and neck. Reapply if outdoors or sweating.

PM Routine

How to Use- (Steps 1 to 4)

1. Cleanser: Cleanse gently to remove sunscreen and buildup. Keep it short and non-stripping.
2. Barrier Toner: 1-2 thin layers depending on tightness.
3. Hydrating Serum: Apply a thin, even layer.
4. Moisturizer: Seal with a comfortable layer. If flaking is obvious, slightly thicker on those spots only.

Important: If you are tight and flaky, do not add exfoliating acids until your skin feels stable for at least 2 weeks. Fix the barrier first.
