Routine Overview

This routine is built specifically for oily, breakout-prone skin dealing with PIH (post-acne marks). PIH fades faster when you do two things at the same time: (1) prevent new inflammation (clogging and breakouts), and (2) consistently block UV (because UV keeps pigment “switched on”). The routine uses a pore-unclogging but barrier-friendly cleanser, a gentle AHA/BHA toner to smooth and prevent clogged pores, a targeted TXA + niacinamide serum to fade marks, a lightweight calming gel-cream to keep skin stable, and a matte-leaning sunscreen so results actually stick.

What results to expect (realistic):

• 7-14 days: fewer “angry” flare-ups, less mid-day shine, smoother texture.
• 3-6 weeks: newer post-acne marks start fading; tone looks more even.

AM Routine

How to Use- (Steps 1 to 5)

1. Cleanser: Cleanse for 30-45 seconds with lukewarm water, focusing on the T-zone. Rinse well.
2. Toner: Apply a light layer. If you are new to acids, use it only 3-4 mornings per week for the first 2 weeks.
3. Serum: Apply 2-3 drops over the face, then tap a tiny extra amount onto post-acne marks.
4. Moisturizer: Apply a thin layer (lighter on the T-zone, normal on cheeks).
5. Sunscreen: Apply generously to face and neck. Reapply every 2-3 hours if outdoors or in strong daylight near windows.

PM Routine

How to Use- (Steps 1 to 5)

1. Cleanser: Cleanse thoroughly. If you wore heavy sunscreen, cleanse a little longer (still gently).
2. Toner: Use the COSRX toner 3-4 nights/week for week 1-2, then increase as tolerated. Do not scrub or rub it in.
3. Serum: Apply an even layer. For stubborn PIH, add 1 extra drop and press it into the darkest marks.
4. Moisturizer: Seal with a thin layer to prevent dehydration (dehydration can trigger more oil).
5. PIH success rule: If you feel irritation or peeling, skip the toner for 2-3 nights and continue only cleanser + serum + moisturizer. Consistency beats intensity.
